Local youth organisation hand out food to the public in central London

IEC has always seen the youth as the future and can boast about the involvement of joining with the likes of Al Akbar foundation and Hussaini Trust to provide free food for the public and all those participating in this years (2017) Arbaeen procession Marble Arch.

Arbaeen marks the 40th day of mourning after the day of Ashura (The day of the tragic death of Imam Hussien (a.s) the grandson of the prophet Mohammed (pbuh)) Thousands flock the streets of the west end of London and march down park lane and back up to Marble Arch. Waving there flags and chanting their love and compassion for the family of the prophet, IEC was there to support our community.
