In the auspicious occasion of birth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) the grand son of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh & his progeny), The official Museum of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in cooperation with Hussainia Al-Rasool Al-Adham in London is holding a special programme and celebration to display a replica of the golden mausoleum of Imam Hussein (pbuh) in the centre.
The flag from the top of the golden dome and the cloth covering the grave of Imam Hussein (pbuh) and other artefacts will be displayed alongside the mausoleum.
Director of the museum Mr. Alaa Dhiauddin, said "The aim of displaying these precious items in Europe, is so that Muslim communities in these countries are able to witness the sacred window and may spiritually connect with the master of martyrs Imam Hussein (pbuh), despite the distance between the West and the Holy shrine in Karbala, Iraq."
He also added that "These items have been displayed in several museums and locations in Europe, including the German museum of Cologne and Belgium amongst other places."
